Is HeyHOA tailored for specific states?

Yes. While the platform is built to support associations nationwide, it includes advanced compliance modules (such as Georgia Property Owners' Association Act guardrails) that can be enabled dynamically depending on your jurisdiction.

Can self-managed HOA boards use this software?

Absolutely. In fact, self-managed associations represent over 60% of our user base. HeyHOA replaces complex manual accounting worksheets with automated collections and streamlined reporting, so volunteers don't need professional training to run things legally.

Pricing

How does the per-unit pricing work?

We offer two subscription tiers: Standard is $2 per household unit per month (with a $49/month minimum), and Premium is $4 per unit per month (with a $99/month minimum). There are no setup fees, administration fees, or hidden costs.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. We offer a 30-day free trial on both Standard and Premium plans so you can test payment processing, tickets, and communications with zero upfront commitment.

Security

Is our financial data safe?

We take security extremely seriously. We use Stripe for payment processing, which is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1 (the most stringent level of security available in the payments industry). HeyHOA never stores or has direct access to raw credit card or bank credentials.

Getting Started

How do we onboard our homeowners?

You can generate unique 8-character access codes for your units. Print these on community flyers or welcome letter postcards (with QR codes). When residents scan or visit hey-hoa.com/join, they enter the code to claim their home instantly and link their profile.
